You can do just about anywhere on your body that you have unwanted hair. face, underarms, back, shoulders, lower legs, arms, and bikini areas are among the popular areas.

Under what conditions we don't recommend laser hair removal?

If you are pregnant, if have had been sun tanned or sun burn, if you are using any acne medication such as Accutane, if you using any antibiotics or any medications that can cause photosensitivity, if you are prone to have blister due to infection with herpes simplex (you can take antiviral meds and then have the laser hair removal treatment) you ever had skin cancer on the area of laser hair removal, and if you are sensitive to any light base treatment such as laser.

How many sessions do I need for laser hair removal?

Although you get less hair growth and less reduction with even the first treatment, results are cumulative. Our lasers manufacture recommends anywhere from 6 to 8 sessions in about one month apart between treatments. Laser hair removal is effective during growth phase of the hair follicle; therefore, treatments are done in sessions. Some clients may need more treatments depending on their skin color and other factors. We can capture and treat the hair in active growth phase therefore laser hair removal must be done in sessions. Your skin color, your hormone status, your weight and age, your medications, your metabolism, and your diet are the factors that can affect the number of sessions in laser hair removal. Lighter hair may not respond as significantly as darker hair.

What are the advantages of laser hair removal over other methods?

In a nutshell the cost, the pain and possible injury to your skin, and no ends and no results with other abrasive methods such as shaving, waxing, cream depilatory, epilators, or electrolysis. Some of these methods are very painful and they can cause cuts, bumps, burns, and darkening (hyperpigmentation), and laxity to your skin over time. Laser hair removal targets the hair at the root and destroys the root and gives you more permanent results with almost no pain or near painless. All you will experience is a rubber band mild snap, or a transient heat, or a tingling sensation on your skin which goes away instantly. Your skin will be smooth and hairless, and you will love how it feels with no razor cuts or bumps or ingrown anymore. You can finally show off those pretty legs and arms with more confidence!

Once I completed my initial package of laser hair removal, will I need more treatment?

For most part you results will last as long as there are not hormonal issues such as PCOS or other factors. Also, hair follicles outside of the growth phase can become activated and they will need touch up treatments as well. Discount program are available for touch ups. The numbers of treatments will depend on Hair density, your skin type, the area being treated, and your goals.
